In Summary:

 

Surf Fishing Report:
Lots of Bluefish and Spanish were caught on Sting Silvers at Cape Point. Sea Mullet scattered and some nice Sheepshead up to 6 lbs reported. Frisco anglers caught Sea Mullet and Blow toads. The water is clear today. It should be a good Trout and Bluefish day.

 

The E wind is at 7 and the water temp is 61 degrees. Overcast, light wind, flat choppy clear water.

 

Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Trout, a few keepers, a keeper Flounder, some small Spot and Stripers.


Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Bluefish.

Nags Head: Bluefish and Trout.

Jennette’s: Good numbers of Bluefish, Sea Mullet and Gray Trout.
Outer Banks: Bluefish and Sea Mullet. Caught a 30 in Cobia and lost one yesterday.
 

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

It was another spectacular Cobia day for inshore and nearshore boats. Neashore also caught Spanish and Bluefish.

 

Offshore Boats Report:
Anglers fishing offshore hauled in limits of Yellowfin, a few Dolphin and Blackfin.
