In Summary:

 

Surf Fishing Report:

From the Frisco beaches there were Pompano, Sea Mullet and an 8 lb Sheepshead. The Buxton area reported Bluefish on lures, small Stripers, Sea Mullet, Flounder, and over the slot Drum. The big news on this side of the bridge was Mark Gwaltney’s 38 in Striper caught in KDH. We also had Blues, Sea Mullet and Trout.

 

We have SW winds at 9 and the water temp is 61 degree. Sunny, light wind and calm surf.

 

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported good Trout fishing and Stripers.

 

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Early morning Bluefish.

Nags Head: Blues, Sea Mullet and Trout.

Jennette’s: Sea Mullet.

Outer Banks: Bluefish, Sea Mullet, Trout and Skates.

 

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

Nearshore and inshore caught Drum, Cobia, Bluefish, Flounder, Croakers, and Pigs.

 

Offshore Boats Report:
Bluewater charters returned with Yellowfin, Mahi, and a couple of Big-eyes. Also a Blue Marlin release.
