In Summary:

 

Surf Fishing Report:

Anglers are catching all the Sea Mullet they want on the south beaches. A few Bluefish and Pompano are also beached. Big Drum were caught at the Cape after dark and many Puppy Drum as well. On the north beach’s there were a few Puppy Drum, Sea Mullet is plentiful and Trout. I have a picture this morning of a Bonefish. I was told it is a rare catch for this area. I tried to find some info but got nothing.

 

The winds are SE at 12 and the water temp is 65 degrees.

 

Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported good Trout fishing.

 

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Striper, Puppy Drum and Sea Mullet.

Nags Head: Blues Spanish and Trout.

Jennette’s: Bluefish, flounder, Sea Mullet and Spanish.

Outer Banks: Good numbers of Bluefish and 1 Spanish.

 

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

Inshore boats caught Cobia, Bluefish, Flounder and Stripers.

 

Offshore Boats Report:

The Fleet filled their boxes with Yellowfin, Blackfin, some Dolphin and a few Big-eye.
