In Summary:

Surf Fishing Report:

I have nothing to report from the beaches this morning.  I received a picture from Eric Bonner fishing in Salvo. He went home after taking this picture. It would probably be safe to say he was a lightening magnet. Good picture! Today should be a good Puppy Drum and Trout day.

The winds are N at 9 and the water temp is 63 degrees. The water is clear and calm. Overcast and chilly.

Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported keeper Trout, Flounder, Spot and Striper.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Sea Mullet, small Trout and Bluefish.

Nags Head: Blues, Sea Mullet and a couple of Spanish.

Jennette’s: Sea Mullet and Trout.

Outer Banks: 20 to 30 Puppy Drum already this morning and still catching as I speak. Nice Bluefish, plenty of Trout some keepers, Sea Mullet and Flounder.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

The all day rain and some down pours did not stop the nearshore boats from catching a good amount of Bluefish and Spanish.

Offshore Boats Report:
Off shore had a fantastic day catching more than 4 doz. Big-eye Tuna ranging from 75 lbs to 194 lbs. Also a good haul of Yellowfin and plenty of Dolphin.
