In Summary:

Surf Fishing Report:

Sea Mullet is still the catch of the day on all the beaches with some Pompano scattered as well. Puppy Drum at the point and Sheepshead at the jetties. On this side of Oregon Inlet there were scattered Sea mullet, small Trout, Bluefish, Puppy Drum and Cobia

There is a story behind the Isla Meredith Cobia Picture. She was on a paddle board with her dad in Nags Head when the Cobia was hooked and for the most part she reeled the fish in.

The winds are SE at 4 and the water temp is 67 degrees. Waters flat, overcast, no wind.

Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported small Trout and Puppy Drum. Water is fresh from so much rain so we have Catfish also.

Avalon: Early good run of Bluefish and some Trout.

Nags Head: Blues and Trout.

Jennette’s: Sand Perch, Sea Mullet, few Blues and Spiny Puffers.
