In Summary:

 

Surf Fishing Report:

It was another nice day. There were several Cobia caught from the surf yesterday. Buxton had Sea Mullet, Puppy Drum and Bluefish. Avon added Spanish to the mix. Frisco also had Sea Mullet and Bluefish. North of the Inlet, anglers are beaching lots of small Puppy Drum, some Bluefish, Sea Mullet and Trout.

 

The wind is W at 7 and the water temp is 67 degrees. Light wind, calm clear water, sunny.

 

Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Black Drum, Trout, Flounder and Puppy Drum.

 

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Bluefish, Sea Mullet, Flounder, Puppy Drum and small Cobia.

Nags Head: Sea Mullet and Bluefish.

Jennette’s: Bluefish.

Outer Banks: Bluefish, Sea mullet and Puppy Drum.

 

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

Nearshore decked Bluefish and Spanish. Inside the inlet had Cobia, the sound boats are catching Sea Mullet, Blues and Flounder.

 

Offshore Boats Report:
The bluewater fleet returned to the docks with plenty of citation Big-eye and Yellowfin. There was also a Blue Marlin release. Pirates Cove fleet reported a good Mahi day.
