In Summary:

 

Surf Fishing Report:

There were some Cobia scattered up and down the south beaches yesterday. Sea Mullet on all the beaches, and Bluefish, Spanish and Puppy Drum at the point. There were Puppy Drum at ramp 4, lots of them under the slot, Sea Mullet, Trout and Puppy Drum up and down our beaches.

The winds are SW at 7 and the water temp is 65 degrees.

 

Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Trout and Puppies this morning.

 

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Puppy Drum, Trout, Sea Mullet, 2 citations, Bluefish and small Flounder.

Nags Head: Slow.

Jennette’s: Sea Mullet, Bluefish, Spanish, small Flounder and a 39.2# Cobia.

Outer Banks: Plenty of under size Puppy Drum and plenty of Bluefish.

 

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

Nearshore fleet caught Bluefish and Spanish and Inshore decked a few Cobia.

 

Offshore Boats Report:
The Yellowfin catches were spectacular and plenty of Big-eye as well.
