In Summary:

 

Surf Fishing Report:

There were decent catches of Sea Mullet and Bluefish on the Buxton beaches along with a few Puppy Drum. The same for Frisco. Several Cobia were caught from the beach. The largest was an 80 pounder. Phil Savona brought one to weigh in and it hit the scales at 77 Lbs. North of the Inlet from our beaches anglers caught Puppy Drum, Sea Mullet, Bluefish and some throwback Trout.

 

The winds are W at 5 and the water temp is 64 degrees. Overcast, light winds, crystal clear water, surfing swells and the surfers are out big time.

 

Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Trout, Drum and bottom fish.

 

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Trout in the wash, Drum, Spanish, Blues and a 16 in Flounder.

Nags Head: Trout.

Jennette’s: Bluefish and Sea Mullet.

Outer Banks: Killing the Puppies on chartreuse gulps. Spanish and Bluefish off the end, some Trout and Sea Mullet.

 

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

Nearshore boats had food catches of Bluefish and Spanish. Inshore decked a few Cobia.

 

Offshore Boats Report:
The fleet caught plenty Yellowfin day and also caught some Big-eye Tuna.
