In Summary:

Surf Fishing Report:

Yesterday was somewhat of a rod bending day. Puppy Drum were all up and Down our beaches. Most of the Drum are small but they still give you a nice tug.  Catherine Anderson fishing just south of the OBX Pier with her new rod and reel from TW’s caught 8 in a short time. Puppy Drum are bottom feeders and will take most anything you want to throw at them. Don’t over think it. They can be in the wash right at your feet. It was also a fair Trout day and Sea Mullet and Bluefish were also reported.

It was a little slower than usual on the south beaches. There were Spanish, Bluefish and Sea Mullet on the Avon beaches. Buxton has some Spanish also. Sea Mullet and Puppy Drum were caught in Hatteras and Frisco.

The winds are NW at 13 and the water temp is 63 degrees. Water is clear, small swells, Sunny and light winds.

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Trout; most of them are small, Black Drum, Puppy Drum and Spot.
