In Summary:

 

Surf Fishing Report:

The water temp dropped and the ocean muddied up. Fishing was slow yesterday. There were a few Sea Mullet and small Bluefish reported on the south beaches. The north beach’s had a few Puppy Drum scattered.  

 

The winds are NW at 5 and the water temp is 62 degrees. Mostly cloudy, small waves, muddy water and light winds.

 

Sound Fishing Report:

The anglers fishing the Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported catching some keeper Trout, a few keeper Drum, Black Drum and those bottom fishing Spot and Croaker.

 

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: No contact. The piers are over all slow this morning.

Nags Head: Sea Mullet and Blowtoads.

Jennette’s: Slow.

Outer Banks: A few small Puppy Drum

 

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

The Inshore boats had good catches of sound Striper, Trout and some Drum

 

Offshore Boats Report:
Despite the wind the offshore boats made it out and caught their limits of Yellowfin, a few Bigeye and plenty of Dolphin.
