In Summary:

 

Surf Fishing Report:

Surf fishing news improved some yesterday.  Sea Mullet were reported on the Frisco beaches and Puppy Drum were at the Jetties and Hatteras.

 

The winds are SW at 6 and the water temp is 68 degrees. Sunny, light winds, small swells and dirty water.

 

Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported the Trout are small this morning, some Black Drum, Spot and Drum.

 

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Several little Flounder, a Puppy Drum and 1 Speck.

Nags Head: Sea Mullet, Flounder and Bluefish.

Jennette’s: Speckle Trout and Blue Crabs.

Outer Banks: Black Drum, 3 Puppy Drum, Croaker and Trout.

 

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

Nearshore had good catches of nice size Spanish. There were a few Cobia sightings. We need a water temp warmup. Inshore caught Flounder, Specks and Gray Trout.

 

Offshore Boats Report:
The offshore Boats limited out on Yellowfin, and had good catches of Dolphin with many Gaffers. There were Mako and Wahoo as well.
