In Summary:

 

Surf Fishing Report:

The weather continues to be outstanding and the fishing continues to be slow with the flat cold water. The point had a few Puppy Drum and so did Hatteras. There were scattered Sea Mullet. The exciting news there was a 70 lb Cobia caught at ramp 55. Some Puppy Drum were reported in south Nags Head and some Sea Mullet along the beaches.

 

The winds are SW at 9 and the water temp is 63 degrees. Sun is shining, calm winds and small swells.

 

Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Trout, Black Drum, Croaker, Stripers and 19 in Flounder.

 

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Some keeper Puppies, Trout and Sea Mullet.

Nags Head: Slow.

Jennette’s: Sand Perch, Blue Crabs and a Southern Hake.

Outer Banks: Trout, small Flounder and Croakers.

 

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

Nearshore anglers caught Bluefish, Spanish and Cobia. Some boats wreck fishing caught Sea Bass and Triggers. Inshore reported Croakers, Bluefish, Trout and Stripers.

 

Offshore Boats Report:
Another Great day of Tuna fishing with the fleet limiting out. Dolphin fishing was fair.
