In Summary:

 

Surf Fishing Report:

The SW wind is keeping the fishing news at a minimum. A few Sea Mullet and Puppy Drum were reported in Buxton and a few Puppy Drum in S. Nags Head.  More of the same today, same conditions.

 

The winds are SW at 14 and the water temp is 63 degrees. Hot and humid, small swell, murky water, windy.

 

Sound Fishing Report:

The anglers fishing the Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway caught Trout all weekend but very few keepers. A few Stripers, Spot, Croaker and Puppy Drum were reported but not in great numbers.

 

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: 1 keeper Flounder, Trout, Drum and Sea Mullet.

Nags Head:  Few Blues.

Jennette’s: Burr fish and Croaker.

Outer Banks: Croaker, Spot and Puffer.

 

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

Inshore boats had catches of Trout, Stripers, and Puppy Drum.

 

Offshore Boats Report:
Another good day of Yellowfin catches and a few Dolphin added to the mix.
