In Summary:

 

Surf Fishing Report:

Not much to tell this morning. Ramp 38 had some Sea Mullet. Some Sea Mullet scattered on the north beaches.

 

The winds are SW at 9 and the water temp is 62 degrees. Thunder storms, light winds, small swell, muddy Ocean.

 

Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported a few Trout and bottom fish. Overall slow.

 

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Slow. Raining at this end of the beach this morning.

Nags Head: Slow.

Jennette’s: Sand Perch, Sea Mullet, Croaker and Pinfish.

Outer Banks: Croaker, Mullet, several Spot and a keeper Puppy.

 

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

Nearshore boats caught Bluefish and Spanish. Inshore decked Flounder, Trout, Bluefish, Sea Mullet, and plenty Drum catches.

 

Offshore Boats Report:
The fish of the day were Yellowfin again with some trophy citations caught. Multiple boats also released Billfish.
