In Summary:

 

Surf Fishing Report:

Thursday was an extremely muggy hot day. The weekend doesn’t look to bad with some showers tomorrow and we may have a wind switch on Sunday. I am so ready.

A few Bluefish were caught yesterday in the afternoon. Fishing is slow.

 

The winds are SW at 12 and the water temp is 62 degrees. Cloudy, humid, small swells.

 

Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported small Trout, Flounder and Stripers.

 

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: A few Sea Mullet.

Nags Head: Bluefish.

Jennette’s: Bluefish, small Flounder and Croaker.

Outer Banks: Nothing coming over the rail.

 

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

A good day for nearshore with Tilefish, Amberjack, Spanish and some Dolphin were in close. A slow day for inshore catching a few Sea Mullet and Croakers.

 

Offshore Boats Report:
Awesome catches of Yellowfin and some Mahi. There was a Billfish grand slam which consists of a Blue Marlin, White Marlin and a Sailfish.
