In Summary:

 

Surf Fishing Report:

There were a few Croaker scattered on the beaches yesterday. I was told there are not even any sand fleas to be had on the beach. That will give you an idea how slow the fishing is right now.

 

The winds are SW at 25 gusting over 30 and the water temp is 62 degrees. Partly cloudy, high winds, high water.

 

Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Trout, and Striper.

 

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: small Croaker.

Nags Head: Croaker and Bluefish.

Jennette’s: small Croaker.

Outer Banks: Skate and Shark.

 

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

Nearshore boaters enjoyed catching an abundance of Spanish and good numbers of Bluefish. Inshore anglers decked Trout, Flounder and Stripers.

 

Offshore Boats Report:
The Fleet caught plenty Yellowfin and good numbers of Dolphin, some gaffers. Also 3 Bigeye Tuna.
