In Summary:

 

Surf Fishing Report:

Surf fishing continues to be slow but with the water clearing, water temp rising, fishing should improve.  

 

The winds are NW at 9 and the water temp is 71 degrees. Sunny, cooler, calm Ocean.

 

Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported bottom fish, Trout and Puppy Drum.

 

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Sea Mullet.

Nags Head: Triggers, Spades and Bluefish.

Jennette’s: Croaker.

Outer Banks: Mullet, Croaker and small Bluefish.

 

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

Inshore open boats caught Black Drum, Speckle Trout and Flounder. Nearshore boats reported Spanish and Cobia outside the inlet.

 

Offshore Boats Report:
The fleet limited out with Yellowfin, caught some citation Bigeye weighing up to 159 lbs. A few Wahoo and Dolphin were caught as well. There was also a Blue Marlin release.
