In Summary:

Surf Fishing Report:

Surf fishing is overall slow. I would think there are a few bottom fish biting. I certainly hope it picks up for the Holidays.

The winds are SW at 7 and the water temp is 66 degrees. Sunny, calm winds, minor swell, getting a little murky with this SW wind.

Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge anglers on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway are catching a lot of small Trout, Spot, Croakers and some keeper Flounder.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Some early morning Blues and Spanish.

Nags Head: Slow.

Jennette’s: Small Flounder, a 14 in Trigger and Croakers.

Outer Banks: Big Crabs, Croakers.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

Nearshore fleet reported good catches of Spanish, nice Bluefish and King Mackerel.  Sheepshead fishing has been good from the Oregon Inlet Bridge and under the bridge around the pilings. Inshore boaters decking Croakers, Flounder and Sea Mullet.

Offshore Boats Report:
The bluewater fleet continues to have good catches of Yellowfin, some Blackfin, Wahoo and Dolphin. There were Blue Marlin and Sailfish releases.
