In Summary:

 

Surf Fishing Report:

 A few Sea Mullet scattered from the beaches, some small Flounder in S. Nags Head and Geoff Hood said a few in Southern Shores as well. Could catch some Bluefish now the water has cleared. Overall slow.

 

The winds are SW at 8 and the water temp is 63 degrees. Sunny, hot and humid, take your breath cold ocean, calm winds, small clean swell.

 

Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Stripers, Trout, a few keepers, Dylan Kirk had a keeper Drum and Trout, also some bottom fish.

 

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: A few Croaker and Spot.

Nags Head: Slow.

Jennette’s: Small Croakers and Flounder.

Outer Banks: Plenty Crabs and Stripers and a couple small Flounder.

 

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

Inshore angler had good catches of Trout, Drum and Sound Stripers. Nearshore reported Spanish, King Mackerel and Triggers.

 

Offshore Boats Report:
The offshore fleet filled their boxes with Yellowfin and Mahi.
