In Summary:

 

Surf Fishing Report:

Surf fishermen beached a few bottom fish yesterday and also some Puppy Drum caught.

 

The winds are NW at 1 and the water temp is 71 degrees. Nice morning, expecting showers, no wind, calm Ocean.

 

Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Pinfish, small Trout, a couple keeper Drum, lots of Crabs and Rockfish. This morning the Trout bite is good with some keepers and a 21 in Drum has been caught.

 

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: a Sea Mullet, Spot, a few Triggers, a 19 in Puppy Drum.  

Nags Head: Triggers.

Jennette’s: Croaker, Bluefish and Sand Perch.

Outer Banks: 1 Sand Perch.

 

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

Nearshore had good catches of Spanish and anglers caught their limits of King Mackerel. Inshore open boats caught Gray Trout, Spanish and Drum. Miss Oregon Inlet reported Flounder, Puffers, Croakers, Gray trout, Pigs and Pins.

 

Offshore Boats Report:
The offshore fleet managed to bring home nice Yellowfin despite the Sharks being a nuisances and decent catches of Dolphin. There were Blue Marlin releases.
