In Summary:

 

Surf Fishing Report:

Sea Mullet and Flounder were caught from the beaches yesterday. The water temp is up this morning. The fishing should improve. Pompano and Spanish should get beached today.

 

The winds are SE at 5 and the water temp is 76 degrees. Partly sunny, uneven small swell, calm breeze, warm and clear Ocean.

 

Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway catching early morning Trout, some Puppy Drum, Stripers and bottom fish.

 

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: slow.

Nags Head: slow.

Jennette’s: Triggers, Bluefish, Spadefish, Croakers, Flounder and Sand Perch.

Outer Banks: slow.

 

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

Nearshore anglers caught King Mackerel, Spanish and Dolphin. Trout fishing is good in the sound.

 

Offshore Boats Report:
The charters were back out on Sunday after a day of strong winds. They caught some good size Yellowfin and Blackfin Tuna. There were citation Wahoo and Big-eye caught and a Blue Marlin release.
