In Summary:

 

Surf Fishing Report:

Surf fishing remains slow with a few small Sea Mullet and Croakers.

 

The winds are SW at 11 and the water temp is 60 degrees. Cloudy, flat murky water.

 

Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Small Trout, Puppy Drum, Stripers and a couple of keeper Flounder.

 

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Skate.

Nags Head: 1 Sea Mullet.

Jennette’s: small Croaker, Sea Mullet, Flounder and Puffers.

Outer Banks: Sea Mullet and Croakers.

 

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

Spanish mackerel and King Mackerel fishing is outstanding for the nearshore boats. A Cobia was caught as well. Inshore open boats are catching Flounder, Croakers and Sea Mullet.

 

Offshore Boats Report:
The offshore fleet caught decent numbers of Yellowfin, some Wahoo and Dolphin with some gaffers. There was also a Sailfish Release.
