In Summary:

 

Surf Fishing Report:

Sea Mullet, and Croakers scattered on the beaches and Drum reported at Oregon Inlet.

 

The winds are SW at 7 and the water temp is 67 degrees. Another night of torrential rain and more flooding. The Ocean is flat; water is clear, light breeze.

 

Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway has been slow most of the weekend. A few Trout, Black Drum, Croakers, Spot and I heard of one keeper Drum.

 

Pier Fishing Report:

Avalon: Pigfish.

Nags Head: slow.

Jennette’s: slow.

Outer Banks: slow.

The rain has now stopped and the sun is beginning to show. Pier fishing should improve.

 

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

Inshore boats anglers caught Trout, Sheepshead, Drum, Croaker and Flounder. Nearshore had some Spanish and King Mackerel.

 

Offshore Boats Report:
The bluewater fleet caught a variety of fish yesterday. Anglers caught Yellowfin, Blackfin, Wahoo and Mahi. There were also Blue and White Marlin flags flying on the riggers.
