In Summary:

 

Surf Fishing Report:

Some Sea Mullet, Spot and Flounder scattered.

 

The winds are SW at 4 and the water temp is 63 degrees. Small swells, clear water, calm winds. Paddle boarders are out.

 

Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported small Trout, Stripers, Croakers and Black Drum.

 

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Trout, Flounder and Croaker

Nags Head: Slow.

Jennette’s: Spadefish, Croaker, Sand Perch Pigs and Pins.

Outer Banks: 1 Flounder, Skate and Rockfish.

 

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

The nearshore fleet had an awesome day with great catches of Spanish, Kings, Sea Bass, Tilefish and Amberjack. Inshore sound boats caught Trout and a lot of small Stripers.

 

Offshore Boats Report:
Despite the weather the fleet came home with good catches of Yellowfin, Mahi and a Wahoo. There were also billfish releases.
