In Summary:

Surf Fishing Report:

We are definitely having dog days of summer. A few too small to keep Sea Mullet.  We are looking for a wind switch to NE this morning. It will be welcomed.

The winds are NW at 9 and the water temp is 64 degrees. Small murky surf, breezy day, sun shining.

Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported plenty of small bottom fish, Trout and Stripers on lures.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Flounder.

Nags Head: Nota.

Jennette’s: Sand Perch Croaker and Black Bass.

Outer Banks: a Croaker, Spadefish, Sea Mullet and Flounder.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

Good numbers of King Mackerel and Spanish were caught nearshore. Inshore decked Trout, Flounder and Drum.

Offshore Boats Report:
Despite the windy conditions the bluewater fleet had nice catches of Yellowfin, Blackfin and some Big-eyes thrown on the Docks
