In Summary:

 

Surf Fishing Report:

Croaker, Sea Mullet, Spot and Puppy Drum were caught from the beaches yesterday. Water has cleared and the temp has increased 10 degrees. The ocean is rough this morning and I am glad to see it. Maybe it will stir up some better fishing. There are surf fishermen on the beach. I am wishing for some Bluefish to show.

 

The winds are ENE at 13 and the water temp is 74 degrees. Sun is shining, large choppy waves, white caps, windy.

 

Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Spot, Trout, Croaker and lots of Stripers.

 

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: No contact.

Nags Head: slow.

Jennette’s: Spot, Croaker, Spadefish, Sea Mullet, Flounder and Bluefish.

Outer Banks: Sand Perch and small Flounder.

 

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

Nearshore caught Spanish, Kings, Moonfish and lots of Bluefish. Finally, some Bluefish to report. Inshore caught Trout, Flounder and Drum.

 

Offshore Boats Report:
The fleet caught some Yellowfin and Blackfin. Not many boats fished.
