In Summary:

 

Surf Fishing Report:

Sorry I am late this morning. My internet service was down.

Sea Mullet, Croakers and Puppy Drum. Ross Albers caught a nice size Sea Mullet in Corolla using blood worms for bait. A 1 ½ lb Sea Mullet is citation size. Bluefish has showed up on the piers this morning. Should be some caught from the surf.

 

The winds are SW at 5 and the water temp is 70 degrees. Sunny, light winds, small clean surf. Surfers are out this morning.

 

Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Trout, Stripers and bottom fish.

 

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Blues, Spanish, Sheepshead, Spadefish and Spot.

Nags Head: Few Spanish and Blues.

Jennette’s: a good run of Spanish, a keeper Flounder, Spadefish, Pigs, Pens, Croaker, lost a keeper Cobia and released a no keeper.

Outer Banks: Slow.

 

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

Nearshore is still catching Spanish and Kings. Inshore had Bluefish, Sea Mullet and Croakers also Cobia.

 

Offshore Boats Report:
Fishing was slow for the fleet; they reported some Blackfin, some Yellowfin and Dolphin. There was a Blue Marlin release and Sailfish releases.
