In Summary:

 

Surf Fishing Report:

The ocean and winds have calmed down considerably. The Spot, Croakers, Sea Mullet and yes even some Bluefish should be biting soon. Send pictures and news.

 

The winds are N at 5 and the water temp is 71 degrees. Sunny, nice swell, surfers are out, light variable winds. Watch for rip currents.

 

Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported a good day yesterday and today. Anglers catching Trout, Stripers, Black Drum Spot, Drum and Flounder.

 

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Sea Mullet, Spot, and Croakers.

Nags Head: Spot.

Jennette’s: Croakers, Sea Mullet, Flounder, Spadefish, Sand Perch and Bluefish.

Outer Banks: Bluefish up to 14 in using gotchas caught at first light. A few Sea Mullet also early.

 

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

Boaters reported Trout, Drum and Flounder in the Roanoke sound and Croatan sound

 

Offshore Boats Report:
Rough Seas and Blustery winds have kept the offshore charters from fishing the last several days.
