In Summary:

 

Surf Fishing Report:

Sea Mullet, Spot and small Bluefish were scattered.

 

The winds are E at 5 and the water temp is 74 degrees. Cloudy, clear water, flat Ocean, light winds.

 

Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Trout, Sea Mullet, Spot and small Flounder.

 

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Bluefish and Pompano

Nags Head: Bluefish.

Jennette’s: Bluefish, Spadefish, Bar Jack and Sand Perch.

Outer Banks: Bluefish and Crabs.

 

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

Another good day for nearshore anglers decking Spanish, Bluefish, Sea Bass, Tilefish, Albacore, Mahi, Hake and Red Drum releases. Inshore Trout fishing is good with Flounder, Sea Mullet and Stripers.

 

Offshore Boats Report:
The offshore boats had good catches of Mahi with some boats catching their limits. There were some nice size Big-eyes, Yellowfin, Blackfin caught and there were also Sailfish and White Marlin releases.
