In Summary:

 

Surf Fishing Report:

The surf was unfishable yesterday with the large swells from Gert passing by our shores. Some better today.

 

The winds are N at 6 and the water temp is 77 degrees. Sunny, calm winds, warm water, water has dinged, rip currents, messy swells.

 

Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Trout, Croaker, Flounder and small Puppy Drum.

 

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Skate.

Nags Head: Small Blues off the end.

Jennette’s: Spadefish and Sand Perch.

Outer Banks:  Spot and Bluefish.

 

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

Nearshore decked Bluefish, Spanish and Kings. Inshore good numbers of Trout, Sea Mullet and Flounder.

 

Offshore Boats Report:
79 boats fished the 2017 PCBT the Billfish Tournament Yesterday and it was quite a show with 140 billfish caught and released. There were also Tuna and a few Dolphin caught.
