In Summary:

 

Surf Fishing Report:

Another gorgeous day. Sea Mullet and Bluefish scattered, overall slow.

 

The winds are S at 11 and the water temp is 72 degrees. Sunny, small swell, flat and clear Ocean, light winds.

 

Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Trout, Stripers and Croaker.

 

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Good Bluefish action early off the end, and a 32 ½ in Cobia, just missed it by 4 in.

Nags Head: Flounder and a Cobia on a gotcha, I have no details on that catch.

Jennette’s: Blues, Sand Perch, Sheepshead, Spot, Spadefish and small Cobia.

Outer Banks: Blues and a small Cobia.

 

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

Spanish and Bluefish nearshore. Salt Minded charters caught monster Drum late afternoon in good numbers. Flounder Trout and Stripers caught inshore.

 

Offshore Boats Report:
Today is the last day of the 34th Annual Billfish Tournament. A great day yesterday hooking 140 White Marlin, 12 Blue and 22 Sailfish. The charters had good catches of Yellowfin, some Big-eye and Dolphin.
