In Summary:

 

Surf Fishing Report:

Sea Mullet, Croakers and a nice Drum at ramp 4.

Rob Boyer caught and released several Drum in the Pirates Cove area and sends thanks to TW’s staff for bait selection (Gulp) and Popping Corks. (Picture)

The Rasmussen family also sends high praises to the staff for helping his boys and giving them a little pocket guide to fish in the area.

 

The winds are SW at 9 and the water temp is 68 degrees. Cloudy, flat seas, some wind.

 

Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway is a busy place with anglers catching Trout, Sheepshead, Croaker and Flounder.

 

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Lots of Bluefish.

Nags Head: Bluefish and Crabs.

Jennette’s: Sand Perch and Bluefish.

Outer Banks: Spot, Flounder and Mullet.

 

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

Inshore anglers limited out on speckle Trout, caught some keeper Flounder and Puppy Drum. Nearshore caught a generous amount of Spanish Macs, some Kings, Triggers and Drum releases as well.

 

Offshore Boats Report:
The Billfish tournament is over and The Point Runner was 1st place. The blue water fleet had a good day catching Yellowfin, some citations, Blackfin, Dolphin and Tilefish.
