In Summary:

Surf Fishing Report:

The beautiful weather we are having is not helping the surf fishing but it is really great for the fleet and the open boats. Surf fishing is really slow with a few scattered Sea Mullet and Bluefish.

The winds are SW at 15 and the water temp is 66 degrees. Sunny, small clean swells, murky water, windy.

Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Small Trout and Puppy Drum, plus Black Drum, Spot, and Croaker.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Good Bluefish action.

Nags Head: Slow.

Jennette’s: Bluefish and Flounder.

Outer Banks: Slow.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

Boat fishermen trolling for Bluefish and Spanish continue having good luck outside the Inlet and a short distance off shore along the beach. Inshore fishing is phenomenal. So many beautiful Trout and Drum.

Offshore Boats Report:
Some Yellowfin, and Dolphin and few Wahoo were caught offshore. The billfish numbers are going up every day with Pirates Cove reporting grand slams.
