In Summary:

 

Surf Fishing Report:

The conditions are much better today. Bluefish were caught among the beaches yesterday. Should be Bluefish, Sea Mullet and Spot caught today.

 

The winds are NE at 8 and the water temp is 76 degrees. Overcast, light winds, small swells.

 

Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge anglers on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway caught some small stuff including Pinfish, Spot, Croaker Puppy Drum and Trout.

 

Pier Fishing Report:
The piers caught good pan size Bluefish all day yesterday running 1-2 lbs.

Avalon: Bluefish. A great catch of Spot late afternoon Thursday.

Nags Head: Bluefish.

Jennette’s: Black Sea Bass, Spadefish, Bluefish, Sea Mullet and Sand Perch.

Outer Banks: Bluefish and nice size Sea Mullet.

 

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

Nearshore Bluefish and Spanish. Trout fishing is good in the sound.

 

Offshore Boats Report:
A few boats went offshore yesterday and reported a few Wahoo, and some Tuna.
