In Summary:

 

Surf Fishing Report:

The last couple of days have been beautiful without the heat and humidity we suffered for so many days. There have been Croakers, Sea Mullet and Bluefish beached.

 

The winds are NE at 15 and the water temp is 78 degrees. Sunny, windy, sloppy swell.

 

Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported bottom fish and occasional keeper Trout.

 

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Blues early and Sand Perch.

Nags Head: Bonita and Blues.

Jennette’s: Sand Perch, Bluefish, Spadefish, Bar Jacks and 2 keeper Cobia early morning.

Outer Banks: Sea Mullet and Spot.

 

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

Nearshore anglers limited out with Tilefish, and good numbers of Spanish and Bluefish. Inshore catching Trout, Flounder and Sea Mullet. The shrimping and crab boats out of Pirates Cove are doing well.

 

Offshore Boats Report:
Fishing was good with the offshore boats bringing good amount of Tuna, some Wahoo and plenty Dolphin to shore.
