In Summary:

 

Surf Fishing Report:

The conditions improved somewhat but still pretty much unfishable from the beach. The clean waves look fairly good for the WRV Outer Banks Pro Surf contest being held in Nags Head South of Jennette’s.

 

The winds are SW at 9 and the water temp is 75 degrees. Light winds, overcast, nasty water, nice size clean swells.

 

Sound Fishing Report:

The anglers fishing the Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway had a busy day catching Puppy Drum, Trout, Black Drum and bottom fish.

 

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Spot.

Nags Head: Slow.

Jennette’s:  Slow. The annual Jim Mulford Memorial Red Drum Tournament for Sat 7 to 1 pm.

Outer Banks: Slow.

 

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

A few boats fished the Inlet and caught Bluefish and Spanish. The headboat from Oregon Inlet fished and caught a few bottom fish.

 

Offshore Boats Report:
The offshore boats stayed in the creek.
