In Summary:

 

Surf Fishing Report:

Surf fishing should be more than fair today if the weather does not keep people off the beach. The piers are having are catching a smorgasbord this morning so fishing is looking up for today.

 

The winds are S at 8 and the water temp is 74 degrees. Rainy, cloudy, large swells, light winds.

 

Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported some Spot and Trout.

 

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Pompano, Puppies, Sea Mullet, Trout, Bluefish and loads of Spot.

Nags Head: No report.

Jennette’s: Pompano, Sea Mullet, Black Drum, Puffers and throwback Drum.

Outer Banks: Pompano, Sea Mullet Black Drum and Puppy Drum.

 

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

Nearshore boats caught King Mackerel, Spanish, Bluefish and Albacore. Trout fishing remains awesome inshore.

 

Offshore Boats Report:
It was another tough day for the charter. A few boats fished and had good catches of Dolphin and a couple of White Marlin.
