In Summary:

 

Surf Fishing Report:

Puppy Drum were scattered along the beaches with some good size Drum caught at Oregon Inlet. There should also be some Pompano and Sea Mullet.

 

The winds are SW at 8 and the water temp is 73 degrees. Large Swells, light and variable winds, partly cloudy.

 

Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported early morning Trout with some keepers, Drum and Stripers, some bottom fish.

 

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Bluefish, Puppies, Sea Mullet and Pompano

Nags Head: Bluefish.

Jennette’s: Pompano, Sand Perch and Crabs.

Outer Banks: Flounder, Sea Mullet and Pompano. Big run of Bluefish late afternoon yesterday.

 

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

The inshore boats are having excellent Trout days with plenty of Drum and some Flounder.

 

Offshore Boats Report:
The fleet finally made it out yesterday and had a good day catching Yellowfin and Dolphin. There were several White Marlin releases.
