In Summary:

 

Surf Fishing Report:

Surf fishing is slow. There should be some Sea Mullet and small bottom fish caught.

 

The winds are SW at 4 and the water temp is 73 degrees. Sunny, no wind, clean swells, murky water.

 

Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported slow. Some Trout and small bottom fish.

 

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Slow.

Nags Head: Slow

Jennette’s: 6 lb Flounder, small Drum, Black Drum and Sea Mullet.

Outer Banks: Puppy Drum and Flounder.

 

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

Nearshore boats finally had a good report catching Triggers, Albacore, Sea Bass and plenty Spanish. Inshore decked their limits of Trout and some keeper Drum. The Headboat caught keeper Flounder, Sea Bass, Puffer, Sea Mullet, Gray Trout and Croaker.

 

Offshore Boats Report:
Yellowfin Tuna were plentiful, weighing up to 63 lbs, good numbers of Blackfin, limits of Dolphin and very large Big-eye. There were more than 40 White Marlin releases with some Sailfish.
