In Summary:

 

Surf Fishing Report:

Rough choppy ocean has returned and the water has cleared to a beautiful emerald green. Its Bluefish water and the piers are already catching Blues this morning. Lots of wash this morning and sometimes those Puppies can be in the wash right at your feet.

 

The winds are NE at 11 and the water temp is 74 degrees. Choppy Ocean, some wind, sunny.

 

Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported a few Trout this morning but it’s early yet.

 

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Blues and Puppy Drum.

Nags Head: Bluefish

Jennette’s: Blues.

Outer Banks: Blues and Black Drum.

 

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

Nearshore caught Bluefish, Spanish, and Albacore. The inlet boats caught plenty Trout.

 

Offshore Boats Report:
It was a great day for the fleet bringing a generous amount of Tuna, a considerable amount of Wahoo and limits of Dolphin back to the docks. There was a 500 lb Blue Marlin release, 3 Sailfish, and multiple White Marlin reported from Pirates Cove Marina.
