In Summary:

 

Surf Fishing Report:

It is a most beautiful day on the OBX. There were puppy Drum and Sea Mullet scattered along the beaches yesterday. The ocean is fisherable today but grassy conditions.

 

The winds are NW at 7 and the water temp is 74 degrees. Light breeze, surfing swells, sunny nice day.

 

Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Trout, Croaker, Black Drum and Stripers.

 

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Lots of Spot on blood worms. Sea Mullet, Bluefish, Croaker, and Drum. Also caught big Drum last night.

Nags Head: Puppy Drum. Good Drum fishing last night.

Jennette’s: Black Drum and Croaker. Jennette’s released 8 big bull Red Drum yesterday. It’s that time of the year.

Outer Banks: Keeper Puppy Drum.

 

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

Inshore boats are catching plenty Trout and Drum.

 

Offshore Boats Report:
The fleet did not venture out again yesterday. Maybe today.
