Surf Fishing Report:

It is coat weather this morning for the pier and surf fishermen. Conditions are much better today. For the surf fishing anglers, find a good slough and drop some bait.

 

The winds are NE at 11 and the water temp is 72 degrees. Sun is shining; windy, chilly, sloppy swell.

 

Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Puppy Drum, Stripers and Trout. No keepers this morning, yet.

 

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: 1 Big Drum, 3 nice Trout, Spot, Black Drum and huge Croaker.

Nags Head: Bluefish and Pinfish.

Jennette’s: Puppy Drum and Black Drum.

Outer Banks: No contact

 

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

Inshore anglers decked Flounder, Drum, Stripers and Trout.

 

Offshore Boats Report:
The boats stayed tied to the docks due to rough water.
