In Summary:

 

Surf Fishing Report:

Surf fishing is slow. Conditions are not great. The Piers are having a good morning. There should be some of same in the surf.

 

The winds are NE at 15 and the water temp is 70 degrees. Rough Ocean, windy, mostly sunny

 

Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported catching Trout this morning.

 

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: 5 Red Drum, Spot, Sea Mullet, Bluefish, Croaker, Pompano and Black Drum.

Nags Head: Spot, Croaker and Bluefish.

Jennette’s: 1 Red Drum, Bluefish, Sand Perch, Puffers and Black Drum.

Outer Banks: Spot and Bluefish.

 

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

Nearshore fleet caught Speckle Trout and Inshore had an exceptional day catching Trout and Red Drum. The head boat caught Sea Mullet, Sea Robin, Bluefish, Flounder and Spot.

 

Offshore Boats Report:
A few boats sailed Tuesday and some limited out on Mahi, some boats caught bailer Dolphin as well. Also Yellowfin Tuna were decked.
