In Summary:

 

Surf Fishing Report:

There were a couple of Puppy Drum caught from the surf, some Flounder and Bluefish.

 

The winds are SE at 2 and the water temp is 73 degrees. Sunny, light winds, large clean surfing swells and the surfers are taken full advantage this morning.

 

Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Trout, Puppy Drum and assortment of bottom fish.

 

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Spot. Lots of grass.

Nags Head: Trout and Black Drum.

Jennette’s: Black Drum, Spot and Bluefish.

Outer Banks: Spot, muddy water.

 

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

Nearshore fleet is catching good numbers of Drum and Trout. Trout and Drum fishing continues to be good inshore with plenty of Rockfish keepers added to the mix. You can keep 2/per day Rockfish, 18 in TL minimum. The head boat caught Skate, Sea robin, Sea Mullet, Sea Bass, Puffers, Lizardfish, Pigs and Pins

 

Offshore Boats Report:
The bluewater anglers returned to shore with a decent amount of Blackfin, some Mahi and a few Yellowfin.
