In Summary:

 

Surf Fishing Report:

There were scattered Black Drum and Spot reported from the surf. I did not hear of a puppy. With the SE wind I’m expecting a slow day.

 

The winds are SE at 5 and the water temp is 72 degrees. Calm surf, light winds and sunny.

 

Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Trout, small Drum and some bottom fish.

 

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Spot and Black Drum.

Nags Head: Slow.

Jennette’s: Black Drum, Sea Mullet, Spot and Blues.

Outer Banks: Black Drum.

 

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

Nearshore fishing improved yesterday with anglers catching Spanish, King Mackerel and Albacore. Great inshore fishing catching Drum, Trout and some keeper Stripers.

 

Offshore Boats Report:
The offshore fleet had some good action today catching Blackfin, Yellowfin, an occasional Wahoo, Mahi and a Wahoo as well
