In Summary:

 

Surf Fishing Report:

We are having such beautiful weather. A real pleasure after the rough conditions we had most all of September. The fishing is slow from the surf. A few small Bluefish and Black Drum were reported.

 

The winds are S at 8 and the water temp is 72 degrees. Calm winds, calm water, sunny day.

 

Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported A few keeper Trout and Puppies this morning.

 

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Slow.

Nags Head: Slow.

Jennette’s: Blues, Sand Perch and Black Drum.

Outer Banks: A couple Black Drum

 

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

Nearshore and inshore fishing was fantastic. King Mackerel, False albacore, beautiful Trout, plenty Drum, Flounder and Stripers. One boat limited out catching Stripers.

Offshore Boats Report:
A lot of meat fish return to the docks with the fleet yesterday. Good catches of Yellowfin, Blackfin and Dolphin. Also some Wahoo were added to the mix.
