In Summary:

 

Surf Fishing Report:

Surf fishing continues to be slow with a few small bottom fish caught.

 

The winds are S at 14 and the water temp is 72 degrees. Windy, weak swells, muddy water, sunny day.

 

Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Trout, Stripers and bottom fish.

 

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Pigfish.

Nags Head: Some Croaker.

Jennette’s: Gray Trout.

Outer Banks: Sea Mullet and Black Drum.

 

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

Nearshore anglers caught good numbers of Spanish, Albacore and some nice King Mackerel. The boats fishing the inlet had plenty action catching Puppy Drum, Trout, Flounder and limits of Rockfish.

 

Offshore Boats Report:
The bluewater fleet had a couple of Billfish flags flying, caught Blackfin, Yellowfin and a good showing of Mahi. A few Wahoo were also decked weighing up to 70 lbs.
