Sea Mullet bite was good in Avon. Sea Mullet, Bluefish, Blow Toads and Puppies reported at the point. Frisco beaches had Puppy Drum and Bluefish on the Hatteras beaches.
Trout fishing has been pretty good on the north beaches especially in Nags Head. Gabe Stabley caught his 23 in Trout in Kitty Hawk.
It is cold on the piers this morning. There are a few diehards fishing. OBX pier has caught a 15 in Gray Trout and Sea Mullet. Jennette’s catching Sea Mullet, Sand Perch and Skates.
The inshore charters caught Specks and Rockfish yesterday.
17 boats sailed from Oregon Inlet Yesterday. They returned to the docks with Yellowfin, Dolphin, 1 Mako and some Bonitos.
The winds are NE at 16 and the water temp is 59 degrees. Choppy water, small waves, overcast and chilly.
