In Summary:

 

Surf Fishing Report:

Croakers and Black Drum were caught from the beaches and Darcie Dyke caught a nice Drum. He sent word the TW’s Kitty Hawk store was super, helpful and informative.

 

The winds are S at 7 and the water temp is 71 degrees. Gully washer rains early, bright sun now, light winds, small swells.

 

Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Trout, Stripers, Flounder and small stuff.

 

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Spot and 1 big Drum.

Nags Head: Slow.

Jennette’s: Gray Trout.

Outer Banks: Black Drum and Pompano up in the surf

 

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

Nearshore anglers had catches of King Mackerel, Drum and lots of Stripers. Inshore caught Stripers, Gray Trout and Speckle Trout.

 

Offshore Boats Report:
The offshore catches for yesterday were Yellowfin, Black fin, some Mahi, and a few Big-eye. Also a Blue Marlin Release.
