In Summary:

 

Surf Fishing Report:

Fishing picked up along the beaches. Randy Austin caught some small Blues, Pompano, Mullet, small Mackerel and his dad caught a nice keeper Flounder at ramp 4. Joe White caught the big one in Corolla.

 

The winds are NE at 22 and the water temp is 33 degrees. Rough water, white water beyond the piers, windy cloudy.

 

Sound Fishing Report:

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported keeper Rockfish, keeper Trout, keeper Drum and the regular Croakers, Pinfish, Black Drum.

 

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: The pier jockeys are throwing 12’s this morning and its moving up the beach.

Nags Head: Bluefish.

Jennette’s: No contact.

Outer Banks: Bluefish, Trout and Pompano.

 

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:

Nearshore boats had bragging rights catching King Mackerel, Sea Bass, Triggers, Albacore and Cobia. The inshore reported Sheepshead, Trout and limited out on Stripers.

 

Offshore Boats Report:
The offshore charters caught Blackfin, managed to find the Yellowfin and some Dolphin.
